Due for a redesign the next year, the 1996 Toyota Camry did not change much from the previous year. For the first time, leather seating was an option in the LE trim levels of the Camry sedan, coupe, and wagon.

The interior of all 1996 Camrys was well-designed, featuring comfortable seats, plenty of head and foot room, and easy to reach, logically-placed control buttons.

I just replaced the ecc in my 96 Toyota camry dx 2.2L. I have also replaced the fuel pump Ignition coil and spark plugs, but it's not reading it and I'm getting no check engine light or spark out of the ignition coil or fuel. Is there a way to manually reset/reprogram or bypass/override it? Or any ideas on what else could be my problem?
I need a new ecc computer for my 96 camry dx 2.2L. Are there any other year models that will interchange with this?
My righthand sideview mirror and housing broke recently and I've patched it with tape but would like to replace it if at all possible.
1996 Toyota Camry 2.2 automatic, 200,000 klms, New head fitted 6 months ago, Ran fine for about 4 months. Then just started stopping when driving, It would start straight away and it would be fine for a few days, It got progressively worse in the amount of times it would stop. And also when it stopped, It wouldnt start straight away, But if you lft it a bit, It would start. In the end when it would stop, If you tried to start it straight away, It wouldnt start, But if you left it a couple of minutes, it would start, But would stop near straight away. I found the longer I left it sit after it stopped, The longer it would run for. Have had the fuel pump replaced. One mechanic said when it stopped, It lost spark to the spark plugs.
mY AUTO CAMRY STALLS WHEN CRUISING TO A STOP. oFTEN WON`T START STRAIGHT AWAY.
