I have a 96 accord and I wanted to replace the head gaskets. Then ideas started popping in my head of things I could do while I was in their. My friend keeps telling me to have the motor bored out, but they want big money. What I want to know is what I can do to increase timing and power? Can I shave or grind the valves or piston heads for a better compression ratio? Im not much of a tuning guy I mostly just bolt my stuff on.
I purchased my car new in 1996, I've put 89 or higher in my car. I was told I could use 87 and I was wasting my money. My manual said that I can use 87 or higher. Which one would give me better mileage? Should I switch to 87 and save a little money? I think I would really be wasting money if use 93. Please give me your advise. Thanks
Need a hood and windshield
I have a 96 honda accord, the dash lights, head and tail lights, along with a constant beeping occur and continue when I open the door, shut it, and even when I start the car and do not stop. I've changed the alternator, fuses and battery nothing has worked
I have a 96 accord lx 5 speed f22b2 I changed my head gasket and now my car turns over slowly and wont start almost like the battery is dead iv tryed diff batterys same out come it gets fuel and power to the dizzy every one says ecu and ecu relay iv tooken out the ecu and looked at it didn't see anything noticeable
