Cold start
I have a 95 Olds 88.I went to start this a.m. And battery was drained.after jump it cranks but won't start. Anyone have any idea where to start. It's a 3.8

I like the car because it get great gas milage. But I dont like the car because it has no power, and its front wheel drive. Its sometimes fun to drive because its got some geddy up in its step, but most of the time its alright to drive.May 25, 2011

This car has a comfortable ride and is easy to load. I've had low maintenance costs on this classic with gorgeous lines. Over a great deal in these difficult times. I could drive this car thousands of miles on vacation. I've seen more than 20 states in my last cross country trip. It was a dream ride.Jun 11, 2009

The best thing about the Olds Eighty Eight is the maintanence/service. It's very solid. Mine has 150K miles and it has given me very few problems. I did have to replace a manifold gasket but other than that, it's been rather free of trouble. It's also a fairly comfortable ride.Jul 02, 2008

No fuel
My car loses fuel going down the road if I take the fuel line loose from the fuel rail along the back side of the intake and crank it over till fuel comes out of the line and than put the line back on it will drive fine for a couple miles than it loses fuel I put new pump filter and crank shaft sensor help me

Heat sensor issues
Have had car in shop 3 times for a heat sensor replacement. Sensor not reading correctly + 300 degrees when plugged in - 40 when unplugged. The ECM not delivering enough fuel due to sensor reading too high temp They suggest further diag needed to pinpoint fault. Does anyone have any suggestions, it's getting expensive.

1995 olds thermostat changed but check engine light stayed on..thermostat was running half..had heat sensor just done and the thermostat went into the red...Any suggestions..
engine sensor light was on ..took it to dealership ,changed thermostat..said it was the sensor ..at that time heat gauge was at half ..had the heat sensor changed and heat gauge went up to the lower red .car doesn't seem to be overheating but I am concerned. any suggestions..All fluids are up..motor runs smooth..
