Why tail lights not working
Headlights signal lights hazard lights working when I press the break the lights work ...... the rear lights doesn't come with I turn on the switch on

Yes the car is great value jus the radio update it takes a lot on gas but other than that the car is perfect I like it its enough space for me and my kidsApr 12, 2023

One of the best feautures about this Tahoe is, that even though it's a two door you can basically fit your whole life plus passengers in the back without even having to fold down the second row seats. If you do though you could probably fit an entire pony in with the rest too.Aug 14, 2014

Great American-made Vehicle!! Never had a problem traveling across states as it has great acceleration and maintains its speed very well. The interior size is awesome with back seats and enough room for cargo behind the back seat. With the Suspension Lift, it hugs the road nicely and handles very well.Jul 10, 2014

Bought this vehicle to play with and it has been just that. No major problems and vehicles has over 130K miles. Rear end went out but I play in the mud alot and have had to leave it over night as I made it places other couldn't. Building a better machine at the moment with new gears and lockers. Ready to play this coming up winter. :) Jul 21, 2013

The chevrolet tahoe is a good family vehicle to take on trips due to the compfort and cargo space. The only down fall would be it only get about 17 miles per gallon out on the highway. All in all its a good vehicle.Feb 15, 2012

good for 4 wheeling drives like tank and will eat your ford alive but not grand prix lots of space in back to sleep in oor for cargo and fun to drive in snow or mud its a chevy babyDec 06, 2011

like the tahoe little better only bc i wanted it to be enclosed in the cab and when
take everything in and out it wont be wet or covered in snow. Truck sucks horribly
on gas but does wonders climbing up over rocks and down through the mud. plus

Great truck bad fuel mileage great apearance love the look of the three
inch lift kit with 33in tires.havent needed much work for a truck that is
16 years old. Just started to get a shake but all engine parts are still

It's nice because you can put on different mods like hood scoops air filters dually pipes and do whatever you want to it.All around I think its cool.And its red.Great cargo space and roomy.O its a Chevy.Has a v8.I put in a radiator brakes and rotors CD player new speakers.Jan 11, 2011

95 Tahoe has the 350 vortex 5.7 liter engine which is very simple to work on,and has plenty of power. transmission could be better. overall this SUV is fun to drive on and off road.Also has plenty of room for aftermarket speakers. Dec 15, 2010

Did a straight trade for my lexus w/ a blown rod. Had 205k miles but was 4x4 so did a lot of damage in the mudd. Sold this ride for 1600 when 4x4 broke. had A BLAST going mudding everydayOct 06, 2010

Performance - acceleration, braking, handling? goes about as good as 220,000 mile truck should
Build Quality - has it needed repairs? squeaks/rattles? i rebuilt the front end, not the diffy, fixed a fuel line, put 2 tires on it, thats about it
Appearance - both interior and exterior styling? perfect amount of seatin for me, lana, the kids and dog, looks pretty mean now that i took off the running boards
Cost of Ownership - gas mileage, maintenance? got it when gas was 3.69/gal, first fueling cost over $80, but at least it gets around 10mpg!
Fun Factor - is this car fun to drive? yep, if it sucked it would be goneJul 26, 2010

Loved it. Hardly ever had to replace any parts on it. Only replaced the power steering pump, the serpentine belt and rebuilt the trany. The interior was cloth and easy to clean. The bench seats were very comfortable and had adjustable lumbar supports. Gas Mileage was around 14 highway and 12 in town. I had a blast driving this truck. It was extrmemly easy to drive and the interior was spacious and comfortable to make the truck all the more enjoyable. Its was grat in the snow, rain and mud. Strong 5.7L engine that tackled anything I wanted it to.Jun 11, 2010

I use it to chauffeur dogs and hauling horses. Great for driving dogs, but could use a little more power in the hauling dept. Great for off-roading and awesome in the snow!!! I love the 2-door K5 type body style. Jan 17, 2010

It's the wifes toy.. More like the Pavement Princess LOL... I find it needs stiffer sway bars but otherwise an awesome truck. Needs stuff done to it to make the get up and go a bit better. Alot of Power to spin if it would. The posi wont kick a burnout it's only good when pulling things like boats BIG boats lol...Dec 28, 2008

great work truck. It drives like a sherman tank but is also indestructable and unbelievably reliable. It is not very quick having only around 250hp but I have towed boats and heavy machinery, moved furniture, loaded it with scrap metal, and used it for camping and ski vacations without any problems.
It is very comfortable despite having few luxury options. It is just a good, basic truck.
I would get the 4wd version if you do winter driving. The 2wd version slides easily on snow, ice, etc... making it no fun to drive in the winter Jul 19, 2008

A very strong vehicle with a 350 V8. It hides a lot of horsepower that is able to be made by it if the right mods are performed. Overall great interior design and layout. Not too big and definitely not too small. The four wheel drive model is a must (as long as you own a 1996 or newer to have the advantage of 50 extra horses). Exterior is well-designed and will stay fresh amongst eyes for years to come.Jan 17, 2008

Tahoe Wont Start

what is causing the ticking?
it only happens when i accelrate. as the rpms go up the ticking seems to follow it. i can hear it clear as day in the cabin of the truck. not sure if it can be heard on the outside.
