The Camaro continues to impress aficionados and potential consumers alike with its exciting ride and powerful engine (base engine is a 3.4-liter 160-hp V6 and the Z28 brings a 5.7-liter 275-hp LT1 V8 with six speeds). The 1995 model is very similar to the 1994, having only introduced three new colors and some interior changes for all models and new wheels on the Z28.
The rear wheel drive and low suspension make for a road-hugging ride that may feel a little slippery in winter weather. Otherwise, Camaro brings its standard promises: an exciting though noisy ride for the driver and front-seat package, with a cramped ride for anyone who dare try to fit in the back seat.

For a 1995, it runs great, its very powerful, stylish, reliable, very responsible to mods (considering its a track made car) it was my first car and I'm sure it will be my last car. Z/28's are the best trims available in my opinionSep 16, 2013

This is my fourth Camaro in a row. I like the 1995 because it is good looking, comfortable, has always run good, and gets fairly good mileage. I would like a newer model but don't want to be accused of a mid life crisis.May 06, 2013

this car is fun to drive with the lt1 backed by a 6 speed it gets up and goes with no problems it corners amazing !i havent had to replace much of anything except for the starter !the motor was ticking when i bought it and quit after driving it i have now put on 11000 miles since it quit good motor !Apr 18, 2012

its a very very fun car, easy to drive, and the available after market add ons list goes on for miles, although it is an older car so it does have the risk of breaking, mine has had most of its repairs completed the major ones being a new transmission and new head gaskets. it handles exactly like an American live axel car should. breaking is excellent as well. gas milage could be better but for a 13 second car im not complaning [and thats on a bad day]

Had balls for a 3.4L V6...Interior well laid out (simple yet functional)...Blast to drive...Problems with the cooling system lead to a manual fan switch which kept it cool on command...Very dependable...Drove to Maryland, Massachusetts, never a problem.Aug 25, 2011

I love the power, ride, and fuel economy this car gives. I can't think of anything I dont like! I get about 25 mpg highway and 18 city. The Bose stereo is very good for a factory unit. These cars are now 10-18 years old and still turn heads.Jun 04, 2011

I love all F-bodies. They look amazing and handle well from family outtings to racing the quarter mile. The only problem is any do-it-yourself repairs that involve the rear-end. Hate trying to replace the fuel pump!If you decide on this car, do yourself a favor and cut a pass through hatch in the back for any and all fuel repairs.Feb 23, 2011

Absolutely loved this car only problem was... too many speeding tickets. That and maybe the gas mileage. Kind of expensive on the maintenance too but totally worth it. Handled awesome and felt really safe in it too. Gotta love that american muscle! Feb 22, 2011

appearance. I have always wanted an F-body and I'm glad I finally own one. I
do have some gripes though, the interior fit finish is not perfect, the engine is

Performance- Not 4Banger slow, no V8 fast; decent braking, needs disc brake conversion in rear, handles well for the weight of the car.
Build Quality- No big issues, most things that have been broken are moving parts which wear out or caused by owner negligence.
Appearance-Sporty exterior and Interior, long hood, giant windshield.
Cost of Ownership- If driven just right can get up to 23MPG, regular maintenance required like all other cars
Fun Factor- Fun to drive, easy to break rear tires loose for some spin, manual transmission always increases how fun it is to drive a car.Jul 04, 2010

I love my 95 Camaro because it gets great fuel milage while being a great looking car. The inerior is fairly spacios upfront. The acceleration is quite good for it being a standard V6. All in all the build quality is pretty good but like all cars it has it's flaws. My car has power windows, power door locks, power mirrors and T-Tops! It is a blast to cruise in!Jun 06, 2010

Loved this car. Beat every Mustang I ever raced pretty easily considering it was bone stock. Would still have it if it would have been manual. The interior was kinda cheaply built but the fun factor of the t-tops and power make up for it.Dec 07, 2009

Mine was 3.4V6, the braking was good, handling is american so it is not the best but it is really fun to drive car like this, it is built tough and muscle car's are OFSOM, it looks really cool, but is not cheap in ownership, gas milage for mine was rockin about 10-15 L/100km Great car for burning rubber.Sep 23, 2009

Only reason I give the performance 4/5 is because it can always have more power. I am a car fanatic. I love being able to tune them and work on them.

It's a good looking, reliable and honest car. No, it
wont set lap records at the track, but it rides smooth
and gets good mpg. It doesn't have the over eager
"look at my new haircut" demeanor of an import. This
is a man's car, straight up (V6 or V8). Cost of
ownership is low- though some parts can be
expensive. This car is fun to drive, awesome for road

Love my baby. Has 213K miles and still running strong. Looks gorgeous and is fun to drive. Not the fastest thing out there but it still gets up and goes, especially with the kickin 6-speed! It's given me over 10 years of excellent driving so far.Apr 29, 2009

Quick car for a 3.4 liter. Cold Air intake helps a lot. Handles nicely! Fun in the sun with the t-tops!! Solid safe ride. Stock speakers are great with built in sub woofer. Looking forward to driving this car for the summer!Mar 29, 2009

This car was a beast. This old Z-28 came stock with a
5.7L LT1 V-8, 325 HP. 335 ft. LBS. of torque. We are
talkin about some muscle here folks. the suspension
was nice and stiff, plus the car is low to the ground for
better handling. There are millions of performance

One of the best cars every built. Its fast, handles great, and who doesn't love
some American Muscle. Its very fun to drive and you get a lot of looks from people

I bought this car because I love fast cars and wanted something that I could customize. The car is a T-Top 6 speed car that someone already put a full exhaust on and Corvette C5 18 inch wheels on. The car is a blast to drive and very fast. I plan on putting a full suspension kit on it to help it handle and ride even better. Nov 13, 2008

it's mystic teal, its got low kms. i remember seeing the commercials for the 94 camaro, powersliding in slowmo and i told my brother, "i'm gonna own one of those cars yet." in 2004, i bought my first camaro. it was a green v6. it had high kms and ran like crap, but after some tlc i got it to run good, and it was fairly fast. 2 years later i came across the one i have now, which i was told, came from a guy's car collection. what a difference. color changing paint. 285 horse v8. fully loaded except leather.

loved it, american V8 with loads of grunt. sounded immense, unlike all american cars this had independant rear suspension and actually handeled very well. the engine was 450 bhp and rocketed 0-60 in under 6 seconds. the mpg was not good around 10mpg, but she looked sexy, twin exhaust with a 6 inch throatAug 17, 2008

build quality - many repairs done to it just to make it more suitable for me
appearance - flawless
cost of owner ship - its good on gas and easy to maintain

I got this car when I was 17. It's had a few reliability issues (oil leak, cracked tranny mount) but they were few and far between. It is a Z28, it's hard to see the emblems because they're all black. It's convertible with a dark grey leather interior. It's all stock except for the Flowmaster exhaust and the sound system I installed (Premier stereo, Boston Acoustics all around, and a JL Audio amp and sub). This car is my babv. the interior was nice, i like stream line looks of this car. handling was better than expected, and when you stomped on the gas it pushed you back in your seat fairly decently. it could fishtail with ease, had a good stock stereo system, and had a cool factor of about 4 out of 5, which made this car the funnest and coolest car I've owned to date.
