Suddenly my back hatch will not open. The latch moves freely, play, but no connection. Can it be opened? Replaced?

94 subaru loyale, sputters like fuel line is clogged going 60.
After the car gets warm, and 30 mins in on the Hwy, it start sputtering like it's not getting gas. I am trying to figure out what it is. I just bought it, and the prior owner said id was setting for a while. I am assuming it's the gas, but I am not sure.

I have found a good number of owners manuals for 1993 but can't find one for 1994. Did they use the same one for 1994. Thanks

Ignition parts ID
I have a 1994 Loyale. There are 2 parts within 8 inches of the ignition coil. One is attached to the coil bracket and looks like a quarter with 2 ears for screws that go through the bracket into a black plastic square with wires coming out of it and going to the + & - sides of the coil. The other one is a black plastic part about the size of a tootsie roll with 2 wires that plug into the one end. The wires are black/white and black. Any help in identifying them will be appreciated.
