1994 Sunbird Convertible rear power window motor replacement
How do i replace the rear window motors on a 1994 Sunbird Convertible, i took the side panels off and its all steel no hole to go through, douse it come out the top somehow ???

god performance for such a small/affordable car.
great build quality for the era.
super reliable. this car simply WILL NOT DIE! there are several little things
wrong but nothing really worth spending a lot of money to fix.
actually very fun to drive.
We have had this car for 5 years and have not had to replace anything

I loved this car a lot. It was a beautiful aqua green color with a manual transmission. ABS brake system. This was the first car that I learned to drive a manual transmission in. This may have been the reason why the clutch went out on it, but I really think it was because the previous owner didn't take very good care of it. When I bought it, it had stuck on candy and food all over it, and there was change stuck everywhere you can imagine, including the air conditioning system, where I bet there is still money in there now. Gas mileage was excellent, which is good because I put a lot of miles on that baby going basck and forth between La Crosse and Mauston, Wisconsin.Jun 22, 2010

Great car. Has a great 2.0L 4 inline engine. Runs great and sounds great.
The thing I dislike about it is that it is difficult to change out the radio for

this car gets 32 miles per gallon and its got cushioned seats that kinda curve with your body and its good for a first time car and the maintenence is very easy cause its modern engine and not all high tech and the performace is fairly decentFeb 27, 2010

its a beater, it sounds nice with the modified intake, i can't wait to cut out the cat and fix the tune up items its requires. its cheap and reliable transportation. i dont have many plans for it at all ;)Dec 05, 2009

needs lots of work still- body kit ( cavalier) and paint in 2010, interior needs to be redone. badging put back on. good miles, already cost a small fortune in fixing it. wish it was bigger because of the kids though.Oct 29, 2009

It was the 2.0L 4 cylinder. It had its problems, most because it was old, but it did what it was supposed to do. A rear-ender accident from a Ford F550 totaled it, needless to say, it was the first car that I drove on a regular basis.Aug 04, 2009

Performance: V6, Awesome acceleration, Great Breaks.
Cons: MAJOR Blind spot.
Build Quality: Everything on it is brand new. Everything was replaced when I bought it.
Appearance: White. New paint job. New black top. Needs new tires. New wheels. 97000 Miles.

I like the engine size 3.1 V6 but it still needs a little more power. I think they needed to put a turbo on these engines. I dont like how the rear springs are shot but thats what you get for buying a 14 year old car. It could use a little more handling. Sep 04, 2008

I have owned many Sunbirds (8 in total) This white 94 was a car that took EVERYTHING I put it through. When my tranny in my K5 Blazer when out (tranny overflowed and caught fire) I had a big off-road event planed the following weekend, Well I wasn't going to miss it, I took the Sunbird, All the guys laughed when I showed up, and stopped when I wasnt stuck, mind you I didn't go throught the "nasty rough stuff" I and a little crazy but I am also realistic, they will bottom out. But it made it through. I put 220000kms on it in the time I had it and I did a little work to the engine. Fuel mileage was just amazing and the car always started and not once did it let me down. Right up until the car was side-swipped on the street by a drunk... :( The only bad thing that ever happened to any of my Sunbirds was the clutch that no-one stocked (The sunbird in question didn't have the Isuzu or Getrag tranny) Of all the Sunbirds there were only (about 1500) With the tranny I had in it, Cant remember the make.
For a first car on a daily driver or a second car, in my opinion, you cant go wrong with a sunbird.Feb 26, 2008
