I've given up on restoring my 93 Sunbird convertible....
My wife wants me to send it to the junkyard, but I'm having a hard time doing that. Is there a market for used Sunbird parts?

I bought a white one from my aunt in 2007 with 60,000 miles on it. Rusty bottom of door but I'm getting that fixed; motor in driver's side window is messed up, but with new paint I love it.

well performance wise, the mechanic said he was suprised it was still running. I
have had to replace the alternator and such cause it would stall on me. appearence
was good till i got my hands on it lol and gas mileage is pretty good with 23.5. it is
fun to drive if you choose to mess with the E-Brake...Aug 14, 2009

i hate THE RUST!!!!!!!!
its starting to sound like its straight piped which it isn't it still has stock parts on it
it needs cv joints replaced thats gonna b fun to pay for
its got over 330,000 kilometers and still going

Amazing little car, especially for a "throw away".
Drove this car almost to 200,000 before I sold it and it is still going strong.
15 years old and still getting 20-30 mpg!!
Of course in 15 years, some cost is involved. Have replaced the starter, brake lines, and some drive belts. Otherwise just minor repair type things.Aug 07, 2008

It's not my old K-car, but she'll do. Little bit a body work, some tinted windows, then she'd be rocking. How many more words does a person have to write. Man 50 words takes along time. She's goes from point A to B, sometimes with the help of a tow.Aug 01, 2008
