I absolutely love this car. Not sure there is anything that I hate about it. My 94 shadow has almost 400,000 miles on it and runs great. Does great in snow, nice year round vehicle. It's the second one I've owned.Jan 19, 2012

Quick little sombitch. Held enough camping gear for 5 people - including wood, for
a weekend. Got her up to 108 mph once on the I-90 many years ago. Paint
peeled away from the hood. Had to replace the radiator after 100k.Jul 03, 2011

this one is my toy. currently undergoing a total ground up build.
2.2 turbo
A-413 auto with stall and full manual valve body.
car has been gutted to reduce weight, have removed over 350 pounds of dead weight, expected curb weight on completion 2100 pounds.
currently undergoing body and paint work, about 2/3 of the way done, should have it sprayed by august at the latest.
goal- 10's while staying street legal. May 15, 2011

Fun to drive because I'm not too worried what happens with it. 16 years old so it'll go anytime now, might as well enjoy it while it lasts. Accelerates terribly, 0-60 in about an hour, Brakes are ground down to nothing, handles like a beauty though. Needed countless repairs in the year I've owned it, but well worth it. Exterior and Interior styles are dated, but who cares, it's 16 years old. Small tank but runs me a fortune to pay for gas. Fill up at least once a week. No leaks or anything, just an old car.Mar 28, 2011

My Dodge Shadow has the 3.0l V6 coupled with a 5 speed manual. Given how inexpensive these cars were their performance is unreal. Before I made any 'changes' it ran 15.1 at 94mph. Brand new my car cost $9995.00, not bad considering the only option it didnt have was the auto trans. Most 5.0 stock mustangs only ran high 14's in the quarter and cost way more. Also most all of the aftermarket things you could ever need could be robbed off of caravans, which are very cheap and plentiful. Greatest car ever!Jan 05, 2010

i loved this car, it would go no matter where i took it, the only reason that i sold it was that it was not very good to put car seats for the kido's in, it was a pain in that aspect, but it was a very good car that was fun to driveAug 25, 2009

this car is a total piece of junk! dont recomend it to anyone! total rust bucket with only one seat and no interior. frame is rotted to hell and will probably break anytime. and its very hard starting due to a dead batteryJul 27, 2009

I could eat honda's all day long. It's V-6 was touquey and good on gas. The car ate tires, was butt ugly, and rattled a bit, but it was fun and it held four friends. She burnt a quart of oil a week, but, did I mention that she was fast?Dec 14, 2008

I owned my shadow ES for two years before some old lady plowed into it when it was parked in front of my house. The car looked nice. I had the V6 with the manual transmission. The big engine kicks the car around a bit and makes it feel a bit like driving a truck, but you'll love it once you know what to expect and you know how to handle it. This is a fast car. It was also very dependable and handled great in the snow. I always got between 25 and 30 mpg. I bought my car at 166,000 miles and at 195,000 it was still going strong.Oct 08, 2008

Well, this car isn't anything particularly amazing, but it is solid, basic transportation. What it lacks in power in the NA versions it makes up for with it's small size and nimble handling. The interior is in pretty good shape for being 14 years old. The only really weak spot is the head gasket, but besides that it is very solid. It gets about 25 mpg in the summer, which is pretty good considering that it doesn't have overdrive. Jul 29, 2008

The only good thing about this car was the gas mileage and it was comfortable. The thing was ugly as all hell, was incredibly slow, 0-60 maybe 15 seconds down a hill (somewhat exaggerated). The thing was just hideous.May 29, 2008

2.4 litre inline four cylinder, the car had only 110,000 on it and i bought it for 300 dollars, the only things it needed was a paint job, and a driverside outer tierod. This car went through a foot and a half of snow with no problems. The body was in great shape and the interior although it was cramped was perfect.May 25, 2008

Mt car starts up then cuts off and won't start back up. I took to shop and they said it was the distributor and it worked for a couple of days then the same thing happened again.
