For a convertible, there is a good amount of trunk space and reasonable leg room in the back seat. It is still nice and short, so it fits in the garage with the lawn tractor on my side. It has been an incredibly reliable little car and I fully expect to be driving it daily for years to come.Oct 14, 2011

Acceleration wasn't bad... for 90 horsepower. let me tell you, your competition
was an old lady driving a plymouth reliant. Off roading wasnt bad tho, this thing
handled nice in the dirt. With its 3 spd tranny, it topped out at say, 140. Back seat
had enough room for 2 which was nice. ;)) . Braking tho wasnt all there however.
but, for 500$, it wasn't bad. Nice car to drive.Dec 02, 2010

The only two things that I do not like about the car are the fact that its not that fast and That it is not a manual. Other than that I love my shadow. It is an awsome car, Eventhough it is not poupular Sep 30, 2009

i got this car win i was 15 i think its a great car its got lots of boost and the cost to drive is not that bad and its really fun to drive i have only put 68,562 miles on itAug 03, 2009

the engine seized!!!!!!!!!!!!!! it knocks, it is not fast, it sucks if u go in a ditch, its ok for camping, its a good one person car, it is i guess kinda fast but it takes alot to get it thereJul 20, 2009

My first race car. It was underpowered and wouldnt turn at all. Broke a lot but parts were cheap and easy to find. Started life as an auto but I fixed that before it even saw the track. Had 2 big wrecks and it caught fire once.Jul 03, 2009

CLUB SHADOW LIVES!! As a first car, the shadow served its purpose. It lasted 7 years, through which it needed a new transmission, new exhaust, bumper covers, etc. Everytime i went over a bump, the dome light would come on and the dinging that happens when you leave the lights on and open the door would come on. Needless to say that drained many a battery!Jul 21, 2008

Super Fast Nimble Little Fun Car.Manual Drop Top.
Awesome in the snow, 200kmh speed rated snow tires.
A real Giant killer! Bmw's/Suped Civics/Acuras/Vw's have lost to this.
Fast Acceleration. Superb Handling. Great Cornering!

What is the difference in the Highline and the ES convertibles?
I have a 91 Dodge Shadow Convertible and I'm not sure which it is. The pics of them look much the same!! How can I tell? Is this car worth fixing up? It has a lot of issues. The clear coat is coming off, the windows don't work, it leaks from them, the back window is broken and it has a connecting rod knock. It as a few dents too!! Help should I fix It or junk It?
