The 1993 Jeep Wrangler was panned by many for its decidely un-Wrangler-like square headlights.

Despite the long nine-year production run, there are few trim levels, and they haven't changed much -- the base model and a few fancier editions such as the Islander, Laredo, Renegade, Sahara, and Rio Grande.

Here is what drivers say: Cargo space is tight; the soft-top is a hard to manage; the ride is bumpy and noisy. But with the top down, the doors off, the windshield folded down, the Jeep Wrangler is unlike any other vehicle.

Love The Look And The Way It Handles. — I liked this Wrangler because it looked different than most. It had a half top, custom bumpers, a winch, steel wheels with oversize tires, and rectangular headlights. That's right it is a YJ. I really enjoyed the way it drove and did a lot of thinking about weather my next Jeep should have the I6 engine and leaf spring suspension.Aug 01, 2013

I am a pure Jeep off road fanatic so rating my Jeep was easy. i love my jeep it has amazing off road, good handleing, a fairly powerful engin for a 4 cylender but is amazing on gas. all and all the funest thing ive had the opertunety to drive, other than drifting in my old cavy.Nov 14, 2012

I LOVE THIS JEEP! My Dad has it now and is restoring it for me. I bought this as a present for myself after my graduation of JUMP SCHOOL in 1993. It starts and drives every time I go home for a visit and I LOVE IT!Dec 28, 2011
