My Buick Century is not starting when I go to start it ,it floods..It wants to start the starter is working and I think it's the spark plugs..It back fired from the intake today and was harder than ever to get it to kick over.... Please help....thank you...
The starter won't turn when the key is turned to start. there are no clicking sounds like the solenoid engaging, just nothing. the battery is good and all lights and electronics work. A friend told me these models are notorious for ground wires corroding or breaking on the starter. Could this be the problem. I can't even see where the starter is on the car much less see the wiring. Is there a fuse to the starter motor that could be blown? Any advice would be helpful and appreciated.
While driving highway speeds I dropped to first gear in my automatic 93 Buick century 3.3 l and it felt like it was a neutral if I roll while I'm drive up to speed it will catch second and third and it'll also go in reverse but no matter what I do it does not go into first. I know it is not the ECM I have already replaced it not sure if it's a solenoid but I don't know even where they're at nor can I find any information
