Keep blowing 80 amp alt fuse
My 80 amp alt fuse keeps blowing. Tested alternator and replaced battery, thinking it might be in the wiring, just not sure which one and why it is doing this

The car was my first sedan. It was comfy, quiet, felt luxurious. Very dependable. I felt I could jump in it at anytime and cross the country without any trouble. It was great on gas, and easy to repair too, not that it needed any repair! I changed my first ever timing belt in only 3 hours, with no prior experience!May 07, 2015

The quality of this car precedes it. I has lasted much longer than I expected and served as transportation for my Father-in-Law and my self. With care it should last for another 10 - 15 years. It is hard to find a more reliable lasting car.Jun 30, 2013

I'm the only owner of this vehicle til today. This was the last unit of this body style that was left in the dealership and I liked it better than the new that was coming for 1992. I'm very serious about maintaining my vehicles so that's one of the reasons why this car has given me the service it has. This vehicle has traveled a lot from the US to Germany, back to the US and to Puerto Rico. People see this car and they can't believe the way it looks for its age. Body damage has been minimum, but after 5 winters in New York(upstate) the rust has broken out in places where you expected the least. This is the most reliable vehicle I;ve ever had and after 4 alternators, 5 batteries, 2 transmission oil filters,1 water pump and 255,000+, I give you the keys and go, because its running like a baby for the time and age of the unit. For now its taking a break because I have a Tacoma pinch hitting, but believe me I don't hesitate to put the key to it and go, that's how confident I am about this car.Jun 10, 2013

best car ever . it had the original v6 engine and was metalic blue. I also got this car for a steal. Some guy that we met at a small local dealer ship wanted to sell us the car for $5000. we eventualy lowered the price to $1000. Now thats a steal. acceleration is ok, braking is good handling is awesome, there is a lot of repairs and a lot of squeaks, interior and exterior is good, gas mileage is good about $35 per tank. this car sux bahaha i wish i had a newer one.May 24, 2010

I love my camry,I bought it used at 252,000 miles in nov.08. it is now feb. 2010 and has 280.000 on it. it has been reliable and gives me over 30 mpg. it looks good and feels good. I have had minimal problems will keep it till it dies.Feb 11, 2010

Appearance-Inside is flawless, outside is in very good cond. for a 91
Cost of Ownership-21mpg combined, only major repairs are due to the age of the car

Well its got 340,000+ and still nothing majorly wrong with it. I average over 30 a gallon and still beat a stock civic. Vtec or not. ha Honda lovers. Plan on building it into a drag car? not sure though!

Good milage, easy to corner, brakes well, good first car, cheap to maintain, good leg room and boot space.

nothing it is a 4 cylinder great on fuel and great for my family love it as u can also use the holden appollo parts in it aswell...can be fun if you soup it up... anyone with a family and wanting lower fuel costs i recommend this car enjoy it as i have.. this car will be up for sale soon Aug 08, 2009

the best thing about this car is that it runs for ever. Its great in the snow being that its altrac camry. Not to many were made in this particular style and year.It has 202,364 miles on it and still running like a champ. Very economcal on gasJul 27, 2009

This car hauls everything around with me & my boys. Once, it even hauled one of the old CRT 36" TV's - just put it in the back - no twisting or turning - it's like a truck in the back! One of the nicest lines in a station wagon model I've seen until the new volvo's came out. The A/C is outdated and meager as well as the wipers - just old technology. I like that is a 4 door sedan, had pretty good options such as an alarm, power windows, large trunk, fold down rear seats and power driver seat. I dislike the underpowered engine, car color (maroon) and condition it was in when I bought it, ie body damage, broken antenna, bad speakers, and crappy custom tint. It has needed repairs, the most extensive being a transmission rebuild, but most of these repairs were for the first time in 18 years. These years of the Toyota models are known to get 300,000 miles with just basic mantainence.Jan 06, 2009

I picked up my camry about 2 years ago and have loved driving it ever since. For what it is it works very well i drive about 70km a day and i have not had a problem with it.
I honestly can say that i have had quiet a bit of fun with this car and have not treated it with love or respect and it keeps kicking.
the only work i have done on the car is Replacing the clutch and alternator but that is tiny considering the car has done 318,000kms
the only thing im not a fan about is that the gearbox is a little sketchy at times with reverse and the looks of the camry is a bit sub standard.
in the end this car is unkillable and is doing its job so im overall very happy for the tiny buying price.Oct 30, 2008

This was a great car, especially for my first car. This car could boogie and I topped it out at 150 mph effortlessly. Very easy to maintain and got great gas mileage. However, I totaled it one summer in a totally freak accident and I miss it dearly. My parents bought a 91 Camry LE right after I wrecked the DX and I am not a fan of that though. i was thrilled when i got this car. paid $1700 for it. with 125k miles. sun roof. v6. nice paint still. drove it for 4 years, like i said. no problem with it. just rust on the side near the wheels. got too lazy with the maintenance and overheated the engine. so sorry it happened. i would have been able to drive it to 250k+ miles had i been more careful. :( May 29, 2008
