Intake manifold removal
Can I remove the throttle body, upper and lower intake manifolds as one unit, or must remove them separately? My goal is to replace the intake manifold gaskets on my 5.7L. Thank you.

although it wasnt very fast, it got supriseingly good gas mileage around town and went whereever i wanted it to go. it was my first lifted truck and becasue of all the fun i had in it and all it got me through it will not be my last. the beast will be missedFeb 18, 2011

this truck is the best one around period the thing runs drives jumps like a champ new fotos with the original chevrolet grill are to come soon. this thing drifts like a top, burns rubber like nascar, and looks like a styleish beast and blazers suck -kirk-Feb 14, 2011

nice car 131000 on the odometer. very roomy for 5 people.
engine is a 5.7L 350 V8. very strong and powerful. leather
seats in the back seat. the back seats have never been used.

Its a 1991 Chevy Suburban. Its four wheel drive and performs like a champ. I love to go mudding in it and just cruising. It costs a lot to maintain. Its awesome to drive! The interior matches the paint color, how awesome is that?Sep 26, 2009

Greatest truck I have ever owned! The power and size
was really good, and the engine was still in excellent
quality. It had body rust, but that was expected because
of the age of the car. The gas mileage really sucked, but it

Can I just say that I LOVE my burb?! Bought it for $1,000 2 yrs ago. Florida State truck. Came with 2 electrical outlets(?) and drilled out holes in the floor boards. Very easy to clean! Tried pulling out the neighbor's tree and blew reverse; come to find out the trans was rebuilt and all jacked up. Had a heavy duty trans installed for my landscaping. 3" pipe with turbo muffler minus the converters. Replaced the radiator and starter myself....

My suburban came with a converstion kit on the inside that compares to if not passes the new 2009 LTZ Suburban trim kit. Includes power driver seat, windows, locks, custom center console, 4 bucket seats, custom lighting on the roof. Runs great with 170,500 miles on it.Feb 05, 2009

Extreme Coolant Loss
5.7L. Radiator empties in just a few minutes. No visible leaks anywhere, no coolant in oil, but massive smoke out the exhaust. am I correct in assuming it's most likely a blown head gasket? Thank you, Dan.

. 1' Coolant tube comes off back of engine somewhere.
This 3/8" steel tube comes out on passenger side between firewall and valve cover then connects to rubber hose which fastens to the heater core. Any thoughts on how I can get to this tube to replace it? Thank you for any help.
