bought it used to use a s a winter car & got 3 years out of it; it survived submersion flooding during a hurricane, and being hit by several other vehicles & still kept going... finally transplanted the motor & trans into a similar age body when they had over 280,000 miles on them & were still purring like a kittenApr 04, 2008

very reliable, cheap to own, trustworthy and loveable car. not exactly the babe magnet some people hope for, but if youre looking for a car that can take you on camping trips, haul your stuff when moving, move crazy amounts cargo when you dont have a truck, drive 6 other people around or just plain cruise this is an awesome car. doesent seem to stick out as a car that would be nice to have until you own one. the 2.8L V6 and 4 speed auto arent gonna win you any prizes at the drag strip but they do have plenty of power to move the wagon even when loaded to the max, also enough power to get you onto the highway without an issue. gas mileage is great considering its utility value. cushy suspension and soft power steering make it a really nice car to drive too. definitely a car to drive before making an opinion about, surprisingly nice car.Mar 30, 2008

This was fun. Actually, my Celebrity was a 2-door (more sporty). I enjoyed this car a lot. 3rd day I had this I was parked in my customer's parking lot (Reynolds+Reynolds in downtown Dayton, Ohio) and I came back to it after work. I saw a bunch of cement chunks on the floor by my car, looked up, and saw they had fallen from the ceiling. What causes intermittent sputtering/choking at any speed/terrain and occasionally blows my radiator hose connector and clamp right off?
I have owned my 1990 Eurosport wagon (3.1) for nearly 20 years and it only has 135,000 miles on it. I have saved it for my 3 teens who are now getting their drivers licenses and I have 2 different reliable mechanics I have been going to for over 40 years and they are both completely stumped...we have tried like detectives and replaced everything that would be a likely contributor to this problem, including radiator, thermostat, sensor, etc. I just spent $1,000 and it started sputtering agian on the way home and a week later blew off the radiator hose again! Mechanics are convinced it is not the head gaskets. Any experience with this problem and solutions? Rich

Windows not working properly
Drivers window works but freezes up on the way up. Passengers window goes down and will not go up. Passenger rear window does nothing. Started a couple weeks ago. Drivers rear works fine. Got another switch does the same? Please help someone
