how to access wiper motor on 560sl 1988.
can not find access under inst panel or hood to windshield wiper motors. Both wipers not working-motor working-arm fell off

I cannot find release valve in 1988 Mercedes 560 SEL in order to open hood. I have looked carefully under dash board. Thank you for some help.

1988 MBZ 560sel, just replaced idle control valve, now it won't hold idle, continues to have difficulty starting (usually 4 tries), replaced dead battery (wouldn't hold a charge), am now considering fuel pump relay replacement. BTW, ABS light is on, and the SRS light pops on briefly when I enter the car. Also, the radio was coming on when you turn off the car. Could something as simple as the overload relay cause these widespread problems?

My 1988 560sl radiator light is on however the temperature gauge is always on the mark. Is this a sensor problem only? If so can anyone advise where the appropriate sensor maybe located?
