I own a Ford Escort xr3i, its the second one ive owned so that gotta say sumthing... its the bollox!! the best looking car ever built! The Performance is great, its got great handling, its very quick off the mark and the braking is spot on. My car is 21 years old so obviously it has had sum work. but the xr3i has always been a favorite with racers and its almost impossible to find a mint xr3i with no work done to it, be it cos of needing work, or just cos its been modified, like mine has. The interior isnt the greatest of interiors and im hoping to kit it out with full leather recaros in the future, but at the moment, its still got the original interior. and the exterior, well, like i said, the best looking car ever made! I swapped my xr3i for my old BMW 520i se, and its sooo much cheaper, insurance has gone from 130 a month, to 48 a month, 10quid in the tank can last upto 4days where as the beemer, 10 quid would me to the other side of town and back just once, which isnt far!! my xr3i is defiantly more fun to drive than the beemer, but cos its an old car, it isnt the most comfotable of drives, and its been lowered too so it can be very bumpy!! Overall.... If u want a boring, expensive, but comfy ride, get a BMW, if ya want sumthing that ur not gonna get bored of easily and u can mod as much as u like, get an xr3i!!Nov 04, 2008
