Performance: For a 3 Cylinder car it's amazing but still very bad if you have 4 people in and you are trying to go uphill. It will take a lot of revs.
Build Quality: Bad actually, switches get easily damaged, windows wont roll down or up sometimes, broken plastics bad upholstery and fixation of seats, bad metal rusts easily.
Appearance: Looks cool kind of a Toyota-Lancia mix or something. The semi covered rear wheel and back are pretty cool and the front looks nice. The interior is average with materials comparable to those of a Toyota or Nissan with the expection of door trims which are very bad.
Cost of Ownership: CHEAP parts really cheap but they break more often than an European counterpart.
Fun Factor: It's actually pretty funny to drive! Agile and quick if you only got 1 or 2 people on board. Downside is you don't wanna be driving this thing on rain with A/C it will totally kill the engine and without it's a pain. Also ground clearance is a concern when loaded.
My particular Charade died when going uphill it just couldn't take the pain and the belt snapped (it was new) guess it was a bad spare part but I got it repaired and back again but parted with it since the chassis was starting to fall apart. I would recommend the car for economy-style minded people but you gotta be careful with it and treat it with care otherwise it'll fall apart.Sep 27, 2010
