Polo dressed up with sports accessories. 1.3 54 bhp engine same as you find in lesser Polos (why the 'S' badge?), painfully slow, 5sp long ratio gearbox contributes to this - fourth and fifth gears utterly pointless, reliable engine was thrashed, abused and driven with minimal or no water and oil - still always ran, seats quite comfy although driving position is uncomfortable, the suspension and steering were severly damaged on the example I owned and unstable at speeds of over 30mph, The wheels came from some kind of VW van and were oversized, making the awful suspension worse, It had a rear wiper but oddly no switch to operate it, Most of the handful of electronic circuits in the car didn't work properly, Bodywork is very strong for a small car and can take much abuse, Looks prettier than the boxy non-coupe version, Twin GTi style headlamps and red body and interior detailing are a nice touch.Dec 24, 2008

Did 120,000 miles in this fella. Never let me down.
Add your own Saisho sound system for that excellent bass response....Feb 07, 2008
