Its old, its slow, its a fuel guzzler, but its a landy! It has power steering so she turns fine, shes slow off the lights but solid on the stop.
It has all the squeeks and rattles of an old car, but the landy is far more than a car, its a status symbol, a talisman of the British ideal. Solid, dependable and enduring. So what it costs a bomb to refuel! So what its brown and moves just faster than a lorry. Its a blast to drive, amazing to own and the envy of all who see it.Aug 05, 2008

For the nerds, originally 2.25 petrol, switched for 2.8lit Dihatsu Desiel, now goes up hillsin gears other than first. Something of a miricle for a LandieMay 28, 2008
