I have a wrecked REAR ENDED 2002 Grand Cherokee and a 1985 grand wagoneer. Will the engine swap from the cherokee to the wagoneer?
I am planning to drop the four wheel drive from the wagoneer.

The 1985 Jeep Wagoneer was built with five engine options available: a 2.1 or 2.5 liter I4 for minimal power requirements, a 4.2 liter I6 or 2.8 liter V6 for a bit more juice, or finally a 5.9 liter V8 if you needed a Wagoneer for something a bit more than just driving around, perhaps some serious off-roading. Three transmissions could adorn the floor: a 3-speed automatic, a 4-speed manual, or a 5-speed manual, depending on how much help you needed driving the SUV. With all of the possible combinations of power and driving convenience, it's no wonder that the 1985 Jeep Wagoneer brought about five more years of this vehicular legacy. Common high points of the Jeep Wagoneer line and the 1985 specifically were the spacious interior and the sedan-like comfort in an SUV frame. Built for both power and ruggedness, the 1985 Jeep Wagoneer graced many homes, and continued the good name of its predecessors. While this model is very old, they are still out there, and can be fixed up, if you're willing to put in the time. Fortunately, that time won't be spent searching for parts, because most of the Jeep Wagoneers were similar, so you can mix and match other years to make your 1985 Jeep Wagoneer perfect. Rugged toughness and power are the defining characteristics of the 1985 Jeep Wagoneer.

I have an 1985 Wagoneer with a 2.8 L V6. There is to much pressure coming from the valve covers pushing oil back into the air filter/carburator. The pressure is so high it also pushes oil past the oil fill cap. Any idea what is causing this?
