While it's a 30-year-old car with plenty of rust and squeaks, it's the most reliable vehicle I've ever had. The engine was replaced 55K miles ago, as well as the transmission (50K), brakes, rotors, water pump, belts, spark plugs, distributor, cap & rotor, thermostat, radiator, etc.Mar 13, 2015

Performance - It served it's purpose.
Build Quality - Built like a rock.... Moved like one too!
Appearance - It was a bit rusty, but it was a big ass Lac so it was all good.
Fun Factor - It was fun hitting things with that car cause I had 8 feet of steel in front of me, I didn't feel a thing!Oct 25, 2009

The performance handling and acceleration are really bad the build quality was horrible tons of problems the 4.1L was the worst motor that cadillac ever made the car is fun to drive but that's about it nice looks but thats it.Oct 12, 2009

only had the thing for about 10ish months. i was a stupid kid who just got his license and liked having a v8. i blew the tranny in it and sold it for more then i paid for it. (it had pristine leather interior, so i sold it to a collector) .. awesomeJan 31, 2008

Climate Control/Heating
Bought an Eldorado last year and it has driven like a dream. Only has 37,000 miles. This morning I got up cranked the engine, it sputtered (something it never did before) and then the heater blew cold air ... even at 90 degrees. The sputtering stopped, but the cold air did not. I live in a rural community and not sure the local mechanics will be familiar with this issue. Any suggestions?
