Simple to start, easy on the wallet for insurance and gas. Nice to look at, really look forward to keeping this one for a long time running. Wife wont be seen in it...yet, but once it has the exhaust pipes and muffler installed, shouldn't have any problems having a coversation while driving around town.Mar 02, 2015

I got up to 26.75 mpg by doing simple carburetor mods and maybe getting a boost from magnetic fuel treatment and a Jenny Cell aetheric energy generator and also a quantum coherence device and a Sophie Cell. Also messed with hydrogen cells with this vehicle, and I tried running it with crazy timing like they supposedly do with Joe Cells, of course with no luck. Also, treated this truck with Cerma ceramic metal treatment.May 28, 2013

Started right up with some carb cleaner after sitting for three years in the weather. Great little work truck. It has not had any major problems since it was bought brand new in 1984 by my father. I mean if someone keeps up on the maintanence and puts a little money in her shes going to last for years to come and be a great assett.Nov 04, 2010

My first truck loved this truck, It was babied, used to carry my ATC from Simi Valley to Palm Desert often. At 90,000 miles it only needed a transmission seal, In 1991 it was totaled on the 118 freeway I was heart broken.Aug 30, 2010

I like this truck it has 2.8L v6,automatic transmission, cold air, room enough for three people to ride in it, rubber floor mat that go from one side to the other run and drives great got tilt steering wheel, power brakes, power steering i dislike the touchy brakes it has gotand the cassette player don't work and it is hard to get a radio station to come in i want to put a cd player in it sometime Jul 28, 2010

Specs on my 84 square body aka Coper Top lays frame on 17 by 8 1/2 Torque thrust wheels 2500 bags with shocks all the way around, three linked in the rear. coper on top with satin lower two tone with ghost flames. custom fiberglass dash and two toned leather interior custom front bumper with all bolts shaved two inch cal hood shaved handles 92 grill 5.7 comming soon with tounel ram. I don't like that my truck doesn't have air conditionin, but for overall performance, my truck is amazing. It is a great truck to drive. It is a standard, which I am not too fond of, but the gas mileage is great, I think that it gets like 20-23 miles per gallon, so yeah, it is good. The paint is primer, so it is ready to be painted when I get the money. The interior is poor, but I spruced it up by adding seat covers, stick cover, steering wheel cover, and much more.

This truck is amazing, it has a 350 V8 and lots more! It's quick, we love it! almost nothing is stock but the body. =)

Had this truck for two years.. thought it was only a winter beater but drove it all year round.. Thing looked ugly, rust holes over the rear wheel wells were so bad that the box sides would Flap in the wind when drivin over 100kph.. But the rest was solid...Feb 03, 2008

Turn Signal Issues
I have seen all sorts of fixes for these types of things, but I have tried just about everything I can think of, or can find on the google. So I am at a loss, and need some help. Its a '84 S10, 2WD single cab, 1.9L 4cyl, 4spd Manual. Issue is: Left turn signal is the culprit...at least I think it is. When the head lights are off, I put the turn signal into the left position, and in the console, it shows the left arrow blinking and clicking like it should, however, you go outside and look at all the lights, it looks like the hazards are flashing. A guy at advanced said that the hazard light switch (on the column) may need to be tightened. Tightening it did nothing. Now the next problem, when the head lights are on, hitting the left turn signal gives me that notorious problem where the signal lights just stay on, no blinking, no clicking, just stay on. That one, made me think it was the flasher, but alas, I replaced that, no dice. Fuses are good, grounds look good. I don't think it is a short, all the wires are pretty well protected by those sleeves you see around wire bundles. The only thing I can think of, is I recently changed out most of the outer bulbs, including, reverse lights, (one) of the brake lights, parking lights, signal lights, etc. I left the head lights alone. Since I only changed one brake light, could that possibly be the case and I should just change out the other one? I may as well I guess but I am not sure that will fix it. My only other thought is to replace the turn signal switch in the stearing column, but not sure if that will fix it either. Help!
