i love the reliability and the floor shifter for the 4x4. i don't like how squirmy it is in the winter in 2 wheel drive, but that can be quite fun to play with in a turn around. the mpg really suck in 4wheel driveJan 10, 2010

it's possibly general motors greatest SUV. granted they are a dime a dozen they're well worth what you put into them. the early models are pretty inexpensive also they're really light which makes them harder than hell to get stuck in the mud or where ever you drive it. Sep 03, 2009

Why does my 84 blazer not run well first thing in the morning but after it has been run for a while and kicks out a black smoke from the exhaust it runs fine?
I have a 1984 chevy s10 blazer and It seems like I am having a vacuum problem. The vehicle will not run well first thing in the day and acts like it hardly has any power. Once this happens I stop and put it in park and rev the engine until a thick black, powdery smoke comes out of the exhaust. After this happens it runs fine. Does any one know what I can do to fix this problem?
