I have a 1982 280ZX Turbo engine vs body
I was told that the wheel bolt pattern is 4 bolt which doesn't have a Turbo engine. My question is this not the original engine? It is an automatic.

02 sensor light
My 280ZX Turbo failed the smog check due to the top of the 3 warning lights on the left side of the instrument panel not coming on. However, a gentleman who has specialized in the 240, 260 & 280 said it's not supposed to. He said that light was only meant to warn the driver to take his/her car in for service at 30,000, at which time the computer would be reset to not light up until the 60,000 mile check & then the 90,000 miles check, @ which time the light would be disconnected because otherwise the light would stay on. Once he told me this, I remembered that to be the case. My question is, does anyone have the data from the Shop Manual Procedure that the mechanics had to follow at that time. Have to take my car to the Carb Referee on Monday & would like something solid to show them as the CA DMV says that is a check engine light. Many thanks for any info. Cynthia
