I'm working on a 82 chevy c20, recently have done all spark plugs, spark plug wires, distributor cap, starter, alternator, alternator plug, battery, and the truck starts runs for awhile then dies. We have left it in idle when we start trying to drive it it dies quickly. Also battery is being draind and will not keep a charge.
Recently bought an 82 k20 350 with "carberator" problems. Rebuilt the carb, replaced the plugs, set the timing. Cranks right over and idles like a champ but runs like absolute junk. At a lose at this point, do I buy a new carb? A distributor, all new wires? Help please!
