performance - slow, handling is ok, heaps of torque for offroad or towing/carrying large loads build quality - excellent, unbreakable appearance - looks average for age, little bit of rust Cost of ownership... well i borught the car for $700... what else can i say? fuel isnt too bad for a 3tonne vehicle Fun factor- fkn good offroad, onroad is a different story...Dec 28, 2009

The performance of thei cruiser is what you can expect from a 30 year old diesel... perfect! It's wery well built and has wery few weak points. Fun factor of this car could be a litle higher if it had a turbo, but it's fine as it is.Dec 19, 2009

IMy BJ is pretty much redone.. by my own hands, so its not just car, its my child. In the image power steering is being installed. But still its terrible to drive, but its a question of choice. I would not use words driving performance and acceleration in same sentece with BJ40. Still I love my BJ40, best and worst car I have had. Infact its the second I have had. This one I am going to keep, i guess.Sep 18, 2008
