The switch I'm inquiring about isn't in the manual. I can't figure out what it goes to. This car was owned by my grandfather, one owner, and it's not been modified. This is a factory switch.
My car has been sitting for 5 weeks and yesterday i went to start it. The car turns over and the gas is getting to the engine. Last summer i did a complete tune up with a new starter, solenoid, and plugs and wires. I also had the cap and rotor replaced. What could be the issue?
I need help. I have a 79 Mark V Bill Blass. She has been starting easily for some time, but yesterday she wouldn't even turn over. When I turn the key, there is no power inside the car and no clicking and starting not turning. After removing the battery, I tried jumping from another vehicle directly to the solenoid. I get clicking, but no cranking of the starter. I also get interior power. Is this an indication the solenoid is bad? As I mentioned, the car has been starting easily on a "few times a week" basis and there was not indication the starter was going bad. Robert
i can turn the hi-beams on, and all four lights are on, but the low-beams dont work by themselves. checked the fuses, all seem to be in working order.
