78 Blazer needs
I have a 78 blazer that has been sitting for about 8 years now. I’ve bought new tires and other misc needs and just wondering all that needs to be done before trying to start it...thanks for your help!!

The 1978 Blazer featured many changes. New for 1978 was an improved instrument panel to increase the comfort of those up front, and many changes to increase the comfort of those in the back seat.
A new rear compartment design made entering and exiting the vehicle much easier. In addition, the floor was flattened around the rear seat to allow more leg room for back-seat passengers.
The standard engine did not change; it remained the 250-ci V8 rated at 100 horsepower at 3600 rpm, with three optional engines: a 305-ci V8 rated at 140 horsepower, a 350-ci V8 rated at 165 horsepower, and a 400-ci V8 rated at 175 horsepower.
