Tire/wheel combos

Hi. I'm new to this forum & looking for advice so please be gentle. I have a 76 Rally Sport that is completely stock. The wheels are rusty and tires are begining to dry rot. I am looking to replace them with some slotted alluminum wheels and nice tires. I want the 70's muscle car wide tire, jacked up rear look. I'm a novice at this so need some experienced input. What do I need to do? what size wheels? what size tires? Oh, This was my moms car, she bought it new when I was 11 so getting rid of it and getting another is not an option. Way too much attachment to this car.

was there ever a camaro in 1976 with t-tops

I use to have a camaro with t-top's with red exterior & black interior. red in color and with 2 black stripes. It came that way when I bought it in 1989. Was it rare! Just wondering.

Car starts, shifts, revs rpms but doesn't move

So I just decided to work on an camaro sitting out in our field. Hasn't been driven and the only thing keeping it there was a clogged fuel line and a leaking carb. Fixed those issues and checked all the fluid levels and everything is great. I start the car and it turns over fine. I push in the break and switch gears to reverse and release the break but no movement other than a little since I'm on a hill. I try the gas but still no movement. I switch to neutral and the same. (Even though that's what neutral is) I try drive and still nothing happens. I check my tranny fluid but it's full with brand new fluid. Then I notice while idling the bottom if the car is smoking a light grey smoke appearing to come from the transmission. I checked under the vehicle and the arm moves when switching gears so why no power?

Will a steering Colum from 91 Chevy Camero work in a 76 Chevy Camero?

Is there an easy way to change the engine mounts on a 1976 Camaro, the engine is out but I can't figure out how to get a wrench into the frame to hold the nuts to remove the old mounts?
