1975 Jeep Wagoneer Preview summaryImage

The 1975 Jeep Wagoneer kept the 401 cubic inch V-8 engine that was introduced the year before, as well as the 360 cubic inch V-8 and the 258 cubic inch I-6. This power allowed the generation of the original SUV to travel over just about any terrain asked of it, rocky or smooth. And with three available transmissions to go along with the three engine options, a 3 speed manual, a 4 speed manual, or a speed automatic, you should be able to find a 1975 Jeep Wagoneer out there that fits your specific needs. While you can't order these from the factory anymore and pick the options that you want, you probably want to know what options were available. Power steering, power disk brakes, a tailgate power window, air conditioning and cruise control can all be found on some 1975 Jeep Wagoneers. While certainly not luxurious by today's standards, the 1975 Jeep Wagoneer was comparable to some sedans, and was still rugged enough to conquer the trails. This truly versatile SUV can still make a great vehicle today, if you're willing to put in the time and money to do whatever work a 30+ year old vehicle might need.
