Minimal repair costs-fuel filter, starter, plugs and wires since ownership
Appearance-not like all the old school mustangs and camaros, very unique
Cost of Ownership-great gas mileage still gets 26 mpg

anyone who has known me for more than ten years knows that this car is MY BABY, I know that I am not supposed to LOVE something that is made of metal but I do and I can admit it. We have been through so much together. This car is MY DRUG in life - to hear that motor purr and feel the power - I hope to be cruising again SOON!!!Jul 02, 2009

Total sleeper, I love spanking everything that comes my way. She sounds great breathing through open headers that dump underneath the front seats. As far as what's in her... It's just a 302 ;) I bought this sucker for 400 bucks and have since put a couple hundred into her, rebuilding the trans. as well as a couple of nice bolt-ons and other goodies.Jun 23, 2009

This car has four on the floor, a huge block v8, and is about as original as they come. It's even got the factory radio in it. :-) It gets me where I need to go, and starts up every time, all the time. Just is a bit persnickety about shifting.Apr 07, 2008

Gas tank for 1971 comet
I am looking for a gas tank for my 71 comet. I cannot find one anywhere. Is there a reason that you cant buy a replacement tank for these years? My tank has 4 holes in it and I need a new one asap. Please help if you know the reason for this.

problem with deistributor
the rotor in the distributor doesn't spin when i turn over the engine. does anyone know how to fix it or even how to take the distributor out in order to replace it? the manual says to take bolts out and pull it out but i can only find one bolt -took it out but the thing is still solidly stuck in there...thanks
