This is how it is now and that is how it was then..well maybe one day i'll finish it.. but who knows...its not for sale! and I play with it when i need to. Its one of those ..I really like it the way it is......Apr 13, 2015

My lobster (that's what I call my truck...it's red and sounds like your in a can or cave when you shut the door) may be old, but it's sturdy & tough. Not like these new cars that dent or crumble if you happen to have a fender bender.Nov 15, 2014

My review is ive had my 70' for about 14years. she has her problems like any other thing out there and if you love her and respect her she will be there for you. For that drive to the beach or just a nice drive down the road,she's my ride.....i enjoy her(NOT 4 SALE)Oct 25, 2011

This was my first car and I still have it four
years later. I do most of the work myself and
it is one of the easiest things to work on.
Runs and drives great, no 4x4 but it still
makes it anywhere a non-modified 4x4 would go.
Only has a 302 with only minor upgrades and it
still takes off nicely while still giving a
smooth ride. Front suspension is a little

Well this Ford has a 302 in it that rocks the whole world...we've raced a few newer trucks and it truely smoked em'....I love it even though its a ford! Ford are built tough and this truck is one that takes the cakeMay 29, 2010

no esta arreglada, tiene mui pocas picaduras, esta en condicion original, el color de agencia es verde, el motor original es un 390 y fue puesto en su lugar un 351. el diferencial es mas nuevo y tiene un paso mas lento. el diferencial original se desgrano por dentro.Mar 29, 2010

The 2nd best truck FORD ever built the best being the 1964 F-100 it has a few draw backs one is the twin I beam front suspension it is hard to realine once out and is hard to steer. The F-100 also is not good for hauling heavy loads the the rear 9 inch while a great choice for drag racing is not strong enough to handle a heavy load for long. The FE or big block 360- 390 is one of the best engines ever built don't believe me just try to I have run them without oil and never hurt one. they are also fun to build up you can get as much as 2000 hp out of one just using the combo of pistons and air-fuel intake mixture. the rotating assembly of the FORD is almost bullet proof! when was the last time you heard some one say the bottom end of my FORD broke? FORD truck looked tough up till 1980 when they started the what I call cheap truck plastic and poor quality made them bad not as bad as Chevy or Dodge but bad enough and they also had a bad wiring harness that would short out and cause the truck to burn. Today's truck are wimpy cars built to appeal more to women than be used as real trucks I refuse to own any new truck give my my truck with it's hopped up 360 505 lift cam flat top pistons 750 holly carb headman headers it will pass everything but a gas station! 1970 f100 custom sport - won't turn over!
I have a 1970 F100 Custom Sport. The battery died last week and I replaced it but after it will not turn over. When I turn the key, it wants to turn over but won't. If I put the gas pedal to the floor it sputters a bit then dies. Here is what I have done to address: 1. Tested the new battery voltage which is good (+13) 2. Replaced battery clamps 3. Checked all battery connections including wire to the starter and the ground to the block (all are tight) 4. Removed and tested starter (it passed) 5. Replaced the solenoid What am I missing? I was thinking of replacing the cable to the starter and the ground to the block in case there is a bad terminal crimp but surely there must be something that I am not seeing. Any advice would be greatly appreciated. I am a novice but handy and can get around a car for the most part. Thanks
