The 1969 Jeep Wagoneer was (and still can be) a stubborn, hardworking beast of a 4x4 SUV. With two available engines, an AMC 232 I-6 or Buick's Dauntless V-8, the 1969 Jeep Wagoneer could be used for city driving, off-roading, or even such labors as plowing. With three available transmissions - a 3 speed manual, a 4 speed manual, or a 3 speed automatic- the 1969 Jeep Wagoneer could be whatever it needed to be. With sedan-like comforts in the interior and plenty of space for passengers and/or cargo, the Jeep Wagoneer was one of the first true SUVs.
