Overall appearance and body lines of this car are amazing. From any angle there is always something to look at. The pull of the 429 seems endless and gives a pleasent roar under the hood. If the disc brakes had become standard in 67 instead of optional it would have been an A+ car. Nov 18, 2014

A 1967 Eldorado that I never though I'd actually like. I have always thought that "classic" vehicles were a waste of time and money until I drove this. For a 1967, this car has the following options standard from factory: Power seats, twilight sentinel (auto lights), power windows/locks, cruise control, thermometer. Rides and looks great, however the ride and look ratio is like a 'see-saw'. Some people will sacrifice the ride-factor in order to increase the look factor, so it is important to have a good balance. Cost of maintenance is unexpectedly high since this is an oddball year. All the parts are obsolete for this specific year of Eldorado. So expect to research and spend more. Gas mileage is about that of an airplane with it's 429 cubic inch 7.2 liter v8 'big block' engine. Overall, if you drive one that's maintained well and looks good, you may get a kick out of it.Sep 28, 2009
