Tartan Red BMC 850 4-sp Automatic Mk1
Pretty rare mini with nice handling and brakes. No car for the highway or for the bigger family but to be honest - who cares?
The Austin had some looks with its curvy grille and early rear lights. Pretty fun to drive but not the sound or the appearance of a "real" car.
Lucas electrical system is OK if not tempered with. Hydrolastic suspension will sooner or later cause trouble..

This has to be one of my all time favorite cars. I it classic Brittish. This one had a built 1275cc with twin SU's. This car is low and handels like it is on rails. It weighs in at 1000lbs so power to weight is amazing.Feb 07, 2009
