1966 Dodge coronet 500, 440 6pk, disk brake conversion, 727 short + G/V O.D. Handles like any 1960's - '70's hot rod, the new cars can drive circles around it with lots more safety and driveability. The best thing with older cars is one can express custom thoughts. Aug 16, 2013

This is a nice original car, Good gas milage but ,with a Clifford Performance Package ,it runs pretty good! I have had it for 4 years now. I take it to at least 10 car shows a year and quite a few cruze ins. Its a lot of fun to owne and enjoy.Oct 09, 2012

great car thats virtually bulletproof. runs and guns like a champ. its a nice classic mopar with alot of vesatillity. you can put anywhere from a slant 6 to a 440. it is a ton of fun to drive once you work all the bugs out. restoring was fun but its also a head achAug 03, 2010

440 big block 727 trans. 8 3/4 rear need i say more. black, with white interior.It will smoke any ford or chevy. Runs in the low 7's street legal. a blast to drive, has a nice lope also.Aug 12, 2009

66 street hemi rocker arm travel
When checking the valve lash was quite concerned how far the rocker arms travel along the shaft when when the rocker arms are sitting on the base circle of the cam. If they really move that far in use the rocker tips will engage about half of the valve stem. They all do so must be normal? This is an all original 66 street hemi never rebuilt. Thanks, Steve

i have a 66 coronet 440 automatic and restored it.I changed over to electronic ignition
they put a petronics unit in the distributor.It runs fine for a while at 55-60 mph but then you kick it and it will start sputtering and missing or if you slow down to 10 -30 mph it will die but usually starts right back up.Does anybody have an idea what i should do?thanks

66 Coronet keeps running when I turn off the key.
I have an awsome coronet that's been converted over to electronic ignition long before I got the car. It's been working great till yesterday when I shut the key off it kept running. All the other electronics shut off except the ignition. I pull the coil wire to kill the engine but if I leave the batterie conected it kills the batteriie. I changed the ballast resistor the voltage regualtor and the ignition module so far. Any thoughts? Thanks Doug 218-821-4394
