Great experience very professional even the manager got involved and they helped facilitate the deal. I would highly recommend Thompson’s in Placerville..
Highly recommend utilizing this Dealership. I had the pleasure to work with Johnny Carr. My husband and had been looking to upgrade for more cargo space. Another dealer had a similar ESV but insisted we utilize one of their 40 lenders. Even though we had pre-approval from NavyFed and USAA. I had messaged Johnny and he was extremely responsive and informed me they would accept either of my preferred lenders. That sold the deal for us. I drove the four hours the following morning to make the purchase. The customer service was outstanding. The vehicle was cleaned and we left with a full tank and bottle of win!! I ran into new car operator error on the drive home where a previous owner setting caused the interior dash to go dark. Johnny was right there along the way giving solutions and helping guide the vehicle. Luckily is was just as simple as a dash diming knob the fixed the problem.

Told them that I was going to pay cash and how much would they drop the price and I was told that they would only drop it by $500.00. But they said if I financed with one of their credit unions they would drop the price $1000.00 I went with a dealership that had a newer truck with 18000 miles and was priced lower. The person I had been dealing with then tried to get a referral for business. Yeah right! I wouldn’t tell anyone that I know to do business with Thompson Buick.

Very friendly staff and ready for me when I arrived for test drive.
We tried to do a deal with them over the phone and email as their website advertises but they would not disclose financing terms without us driving up there. Also, they were not forthright in answering many of our questions. We went with a different dealer that explained everything in detail. I would not recommend this dealer.

I was lead on the entire time until I drove 2 hrs down to the
dealership and when I arrived they had sold the car I had come to
see out from under me. They also said they had other cars I was
looking for, however nothing again. Very Shady Business
