Should I buy a 2020 Land Rover Discovery or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2020 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2020 if:

• 33.5% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Accident-free inventory is solid at 76.4% — always verify the vehicle history report.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 14.04% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 4.3/5 — a solid satisfaction signal.

Consider the 2021 if:

• It adds new engines, refreshed styling, redesigned second-row seats, and a new infotainment system.

The bottom line:
Choose the 2020 if you want a more affordable entry into the Discovery nameplate and value the current market softness. If you can stretch for a newer model and want the updated powertrain and tech, the 2021 is the better secondary path for buyers who prioritize freshness over price.
