This is my 6th Subaru, 2nd Outback. Just got this a year old with 13,500 miles on it. It's the top of the line with every option available, rides great! I don't like the 2010 model at all. More like the Forester. Too much like an SUV. The sticker says 20 city / 26 hwy. I have been getting 29.4 to 30.3 / hwy, and about 22 / city!!!

Likes.. great looking car, solid, mpg not good. well see how it does on winter time in the snow, it has enough ooomph! Dislikes.. the automatic temperature control seems weak unless you use the same setting on both sides, any suggestions?

It's been a while since I had my Outback and this is my third review, I have since added a set of General Altimax Artic winter tires with its own dedicated set of rims, this was a wise decision; for the past two years we have been getting more snow here in Connecticut than other years. All season tires have its limitations and the snow tires made a huge difference in climbing hills and curvy back roads. Case and point you don't use sneakers when there's snow in the ground you wear snow boots or other type to keep youreself from slipping and falling flat on your back, sliding in the snow and crashing is not a good choice after all your vehicle is a huge investment and it has to bring you from "point A to point B" safely. And it's fun to drive when you are in control...

The outback is for our lifestyle. Outdoors, kids, family mixed with everyday life this car can basically handle anything I throw at it. My husband is an avid white water kayaker and he can haul three boats and three people with gear no problem. Nuff said.
