Overview
The Mercedes-Benz SL-Class SL AMG 55, a high-performance version of the SL Roadster lineup, was available from 2003 through 2008. The SL was phased out altogether during the 2020 model year. This particular model features excellent performance from Mercedes-Benz’s AMG performance division, and cozy and stylish accommodations for two. Mercedes generally loaded its best and newest technology into SL-Class models, so although features may be dated now, they were cutting-edge at the time the car was new, helping to justify its high price.
Key Features
- V8 engine and automatic transmission
- Convertible body style
- Power-retractable hardtop
- Seating for two
