Reviewed a 2011 GMC SL AWD on Dec 6, 2011

We have had the Acadia for about 9 months and we have put about 17M miles on it. It is my wife's daily driver and I drive it occasionally. I have been very impressed with the way it drives. It is smooth and handles pretty well for such a big vehicle. The turning radius really makes you think it is a smaller vehicle and it is very easy to get in and out of tight parking lots. The added rear sensors and back up camera also help. I drove the vehicle for 12 hours one day and didn't have any problems with comfort. We had the seat heaters added and they are very nice and get nice and toasty. The engine is up to the task and can move this vehicle well enough in pretty much any situation you find yourself in. The cruise control leaves a bit to be desired as it does not do a good job of maintaining speed up and down hills. This can get you in trouble if you set it on the higher end and then are heading down a hill; you will be speeding pretty well by the bottom of that hill.
