Its a great car. Only thing is that the 2.7 is known for leaving people stranded. The 2.7 does an ok job of moving the car. So the extra 50hp from the bigger engines is obviously amazing. When you modify it, you take parts from a 300M Special. Basiclly its a fun car for a big family foor door sedan. Fairly easy to work on for a modern car. It translates over very well to brand new cars in terms of maintenence. It gets fair gas mileage for a car this size.

This has been a great car. Not exactly the hod rod you show off to all your friends, but an inexpensive and reliable used car that got me where I needed. With it being such a large vehicle, the car has been quite a comfortable right! Thats definitly a plus.

Mechanical performance of the Decrepid is great. I get good gas mileage and the engine is very reliable. Always starts well. The Decrepid's build is average. The interior parts tend to become unattached and the fabric of the seats and headliner are low quality. The plastics are fragile as well and the adhesives are wearing off. Appearance o' exterior: Only the back end is aesthetically pleasing to me, I think the front end is rather ugly. Appearance o' interior: At some point I think it did actually look nice, but nine years of wear and tear (and cigars) have taken their toll on her. The cabin is very large, however, so the seats are big and lots of room for storage, etc. Cost of ownership: VERY LOW, 23 mpg average and got a sweet deal on purchase from a family member. Fun Rating: 7/10 She gets up and goes and handles well, but tends to jerk a little bit on hard turns and wheels can slip in wet conditions.

There isn't anything bad that I have to say about the Dodge Intrepid. I have had mine for 3.5 years. I bought it for around $7k and it had 197k or more miles on it. It was previously a rental hence the high mileage, but all in all it is a good vehicle. The cars get up, space and the sleekness of this car is what I loved the most.
