Overview

Automakers frequently revive long-gone nameplates for use on new models, but they don’t always honor the intent of the original model with the new vehicle’s design. That said, Chrysler brought the 300 name back in the early 2000s for use on a luxury car with muscle car leanings, and miraculously, it was close to the original car’s attitude. In the early years of the car’s revival, Chrysler released a high-performance model called the SRT-8. It featured a 6.1-liter Hemi V8 and could run 0-60 mph quicker than some exotic cars of the time. Chrysler introduced an SRT model for the second generation with an even more powerful V8, but the SRT8 left the lineup after 2015.

Key Features

  • Hemi V8 engine
  • Quick 0-60 mph
  • Spacious, upscale interior
  • Shared some design/components with Mercedes-Benz S-Class and E-Class
  • 425 horsepower
  • Performance tires from the factory
