Reviewed a 2014 Chevrolet LT FWD on Oct 26, 2025

It has power and responds very well for a V6. My LTZ was a former rental(fleet car). I was running through brake pads quickly then I upgraded to the bigger ventilated disc and ceramic pads and it really cut down on brake dust with more stopping power. U did have to replace the radiator maybe in 19. Added 19 inch wider tires as well and hugs the road now. I am currently trying to buy another one as it’s great on gas and with the Bose system all you have to do is add a separate woofer and small amp and you got some bass but not to much. The problem i had though was with the actuator's making a clicking sound as they got confused as my mate used to leave it on defrost. While trying to run a/c at same time I think may have confused the eic the guy flashed it and I haven’t heard it click anymore (of course I bought her a new car and pretty much banned her from my Impala). The car has never left me stranded or just broke down on the road. It has carried me to many job sites from up in the snowy mountains as well as through scorching heat all in style as it looks real sporty when I see someone driving one on the road. It’s a mid size car that I taught two of my children how to drive in and with no accidents or mishaps. Just made 160k miles and running strong. As I replaced the canister on the smog system a few weeks ago and just haven’t complete the drive cycle to be able to get it smogged. There should be some other way to program a drive cycle as it’s not safe on highways to slow the car down to30 mph and or let it cost on a off ramp. I believe it puts the driver at risk to try and complete a drive cycle especially if you have no ideal what you’re doing and following the drive cycle in order to rest the cars computer system to rid the check engine light once you’ve made the necessary repairs.
