Runs like a champ well over 200,000 on it and never needed a thing.

Probably the best 4 door sedan around ...ever... in terms of reliability ease of maintenance comfort and performance. Hell...I own 2 a 1989 735il with 200k + and a 1991 as well...Really great automobiles...These cars are really easy to maintain and parts are readily available and affordable from non-dealer parts houses.

Performance – acceleration is slow, braking good, handling excellent Build Quality – Some bulbs fused here and there Appearance – Immaculate Cost of Ownership – gas mileage - High, maintenance - High Fun Factor – is this car fun to drive? Too good

Full size car but handling like medium car; Comfortable, powerful.

Solid car, very well built but for the size of the engine it got terrible fuel economy. very high cost to maintain and once the electrical system had a bug in it everything else usually started to fail. not very good acceleration but did have a very high top end making it an excellent car for highway use. handling was surprisingly good considering the size of the car
