New Toyota bZ for Sale nearSaint Louis, MO

Is the Toyota bZ a good car?

The 2026 Toyota bZ is a more compelling electric SUV than its predecessor because Toyota has addressed several of the old model’s biggest weaknesses while keeping the price comparatively affordable. It now offers more power, over 300 miles of range, a standard NACS charging port with a CCS adapter, and Plug & Charge capability, all of which make it easier to live with as a daily EV. Toyota also updated the styling inside and out and added a larger infotainment screen, giving the cabin a fresher feel.

That improved package is backed by some clear everyday strengths. The seats are comfortable, the technology is easy to use, and low cost of ownership should appeal to buyers looking for a practical EV rather than a flashy one. The 2026 Toyota bZ is not perfect, though: the driver display is poor, the driver monitoring system can be irritating, and it is not a Top Safety Pick. Even so, the refresh makes it a much more competitive choice than before.

Expert reviews rate the 2026 model among the highest across all years.

The main trade-offs are the poor driver display, the irritating driver monitoring system, and the fact that it is not a Top Safety Pick.

What should I look for when buying a used Toyota bZ?

Across all model years, accident-free inventory is excellent at 98.5% — clean inventory, standard diligence applies.

Key things to evaluate:

• Safety package: Toyota Safety Sense 3.0, with high-beam assist, forward-collision warning with pedestrian detection, automatic emergency braking, lane-departure warning, lane-keep assist, lane-centering assist, adaptive cruise control, blind-spot monitors, rear cross-traffic alert, safe-exit assist, and front and rear parking sensors with automatic low-speed braking.
• Infotainment: a 14-inch touchscreen infotainment display with Toyota Audio Multimedia, wireless Apple CarPlay, and Android Auto.
• Range & charging: EPA-estimated range of 236 miles, 314 miles, or 288 miles depending on configuration; a 57.7-kilowatt-hour battery pack or optional 74.7-kWh battery; DC fast charging from 10% to 80% in about 30 minutes; and 240-volt home charging in five hours and 30 minutes or seven hours.
• Battery health: When you shop used, focus on battery state-of-health, how the previous owner charged the vehicle, and whether most charging happened at home or on DC fast chargers. It also helps to confirm the remaining battery warranty and review service records for any battery-related work.

Which Toyota bZ trim should I buy?

The 2026 Toyota bZ offers these trims:

• XLE: the entry trim brings the core bZ package, and the XLE Plus version adds the larger battery for more power and range; this is the best-value starting point.
• Limited: adds the larger battery as standard, along with the highest-output dual-motor AWD setup when equipped that way, plus Traffic Jam Assist, lane-change assist, front cross-traffic assist, and Advanced Park Assist.

What Toyota bZ do most buyers choose?

The Toyota bZ years with the most listings are 2027 and 2026.

Higher-volume years usually give you more shopping flexibility, which can make it easier to compare trims, colors, and equipment. They also tend to be the easiest years to find at a competitive price because there are more examples on the market at once.
