After driving Audi Q5, the feel of Lexus Nx is a “tight” car with small seats. Test drove its base model and that did not even have a compass. Anticipated reliability is what compelling buyers towards Lexus. Otherwise the German and American competitors would reign supreme. Many used NXh are priced at a premium. Acura RDX is seen as a notch below and does not even have hybrid models.

Not everyone needs a stout powertrain, even if it's often a prerequisite for luxury car buyers. Some might prefer frugal fuel economy backed by a badge with cachet, advanced technology, an arresting design, and/or a luxurious cabin. While it has only middling power, it offers excellent fuel efficiency, as well as many of the traditional strengths that automotive luxury buyers seek.
