- Hyundai Elantra N: The single trim brings the 2.0-liter turbocharged engine, six-speed manual or eight-speed dual-clutch automatic, limited-slip differential, three-way adaptive dampers, forged 19-inch wheels, and the N app with track-focused data and customization. It suits you if you want the full Elantra N experience in one configuration.
What Hyundai Elantra N do most buyers choose?
The Hyundai Elantra N years with the most listings are 2024, 2025, and 2026.
| Model Year | Total Listings | Good + Great Deals % |
|---|---|---|
| 2024 | 258 | 27.5% |
| 2025 | 226 | 27% |
| 2026 | 190 | 24.7% |
| 2023 | 159 | 28.3% |
| 2022 | 123 | 25.2% |
Higher-volume years usually give you more choices on color, mileage, and condition, which makes it easier to compare listings and find the right fit. They also tend to be the easiest years to shop if you want a broader selection of used examples.
What is the Hyundai Elantra N's resale value?
| Model Year | Current Avg. Price | Year-Over-Year Change |
|---|---|---|
| 2023 | $27,592 | −3.24% |
| 2022 | $26,574 | +0.67% |
The price movement is mixed, with one recent year moving down and another staying nearly flat. That creates a useful opening for used buyers, since you can still find recent examples without seeing broad upward pressure across every year. The 2022 model year is holding steady, with prices close to flat year-over-year. The 2022 and 2023 model years have held their value best, with the smallest year-over-year price changes.
Is the Hyundai Elantra N safe?

This is by far the best value sports sedan available today. I saved close to 20K over a CTR, GRC, or Golf R.

If the Type-R is the king of FWD compact sport vehicles then the Elantra N is the charismatic opposition looking to step up to be a new contender. I owned an FK8. I believe the FL5 is a refined version of the FK8. Modern and has a QoL improvement. With that being said the EN is just better priced it reaches into the market of customers who want a Type R but don't want a Manual. While the EN does have a 6MT option, it's not as good as Honda's clutch feel and gearbox. With that being said you can make it come close - lots of people have done it online. Final thoughts: You can't go wrong with any in terms of driving experience. I do believe that the Elantra N has a bit more character the way it cuts corners compared to the Type R, but the Type R is overall more planted and has that wider chasis.

Great value. And great everything. I still need to drive it more. It's definitely not like a Z. It sits higher but the inside is nice. The seats are not made for bigger people. But there is a lot of space.

Hyundai Elantra N test drive
overall
Since its introduction, Hyundai's raucous tuner car has learned some manners and it's now more fun to drive.
Six new small cars packing the hottest turbocharged engines and performance upgrades cost between $35,000 and $53,000. The Hyundai Elantra N, at the bottom of that price range, transforms an ordinary compact into a thrilling sports sedan with a high level of power and poise that can be safely extracted on a public road. As a noisy, lowered car with a thirst for high-test gas, the Elantra N appeals solely to enthusiasts who want a track-tuned model from the factory at an affordable price. Despite some obvious faults, the latest Elantra N has been much improved since its first model year (2022). Remarkably, it’s even better with an automatic transmission.
Verdict: Serious performance at an enticing price.
