New Honda Pilot for Sale near Melbourne, FL
The 2024 Honda Pilot is a spacious and versatile three-row family-hauling SUV. It combines helpful tech with family-friendly features.
## What’s New for the 2024 Honda Pilot
The Honda Pilot was completely redesigned for the 2023 model year. It carries over into the 2024 model year with minimal changes.
## Design
Last year's redesign ushered in a much more rugged aesthetic: The Pilot has a confident, squared-off front end. Trims for the 2024 Pilot include LX, Sport, EX-L, TrailSport, Touring, and Elite. The TrailSport stands out with all-terrain tires, unique badging, and black wheels that are exclusive to the trim.
## Powertrain
No matter which trim you select, the 2024 Pilot comes equipped with a 3.5-liter V6 engine. It makes 285 horsepower and 262 pound-feet of torque. Power is routed through a 10-speed automatic transmission to the front wheels or available all-wheel drive (AWD). When properly equipped, the Pilot can tow up to 5,000 pounds on AWD versions. Front-wheel-drive (FWD) models can tow up to 3,500 pounds.
The FWD Pilot is the most efficient version of the SUV. It returns fuel economy of 19 mpg city, 27 highway, and 22 combined. With AWD, the Pilot returns 19 mpg city, 25 highway, and 21 combined. The TrailSport’s more aggressive tires bring fuel economy down to 18 mpg city, 23 highway, and 20 combined.
## Interior
The Pilot has seating for up to eight passengers across three rows. If you select the second-row captain's chairs, seating capacity falls to seven. With all rear seats folded, the Pilot has up to 87 cubic feet of cargo space. With the second row in use, there’s 48.5 cubic feet of cargo space. With all seats in use, the Pilot has 18.6 cubic feet of cargo space behind the rear seats.
Standard features on the Pilot’s base LX trim include a push-button start, dual-zone automatic climate control, and four USB ports. Available features include a wall-style power outlet, wireless device charging, a Wi-Fi hotspot, and an in-car intercom system.
## Technology
The base setup in the Pilot combines a 7-inch touchscreen and a 7-inch fully digital instrument panel. Moving up to the EX-L adds a 9-inch touchscreen, and going up to the Elite brings in a 10.2-inch digital instrument panel. The base infotainment has wired Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, while the upgraded touchscreen has wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto.
## Safety
The 2024 Pilot comes equipped with a solid list of driver-assistance features, including automatic emergency braking, forward collision warning, lane-departure warning, adaptive cruise control, traffic-sign recognition, and automatic high beams.
## Pricing
At the time of this writing, the 2024 Honda Pilot has a base MSRP of $37,090 for the LX trim. The Sport starts at $39,600, the EX-L starts at $42,400, and the TrailSport starts at $48,800. The Touring starts at $46,900, and the range-topping Elite starts at $52,480. The Honda Pilot is backed by a five-year/60,000-mile powertrain warranty.

What people say
Elite trim has it all, but I couldnt stand the shiny chrome shining all over my car, so I went with black edition. BTW, seats look gorgeous.
I opted for the Touring. This car is a smooth ride, has an aggressive appearance and design which I love. My wife and I often thought we own a Pilot when we expanded our family. However, we were strongly considering the Subaru Ascent because we didn’t like the previous Pilot’s iteration’ with a more rounded design. Doing our due diligence we went to Honda after test driving the Ascent and fell in love. The 8-passenger converts to captains chairs with a removable middle seat that you can store in the hidden cargo compartment. This gives the vehicle great flexible and so much more roominess when needed. I love my moon roof and Bose sound system. I also love the height of the vehicle with my 20 inch wheels.
Comfortable ride with great technology for someone who upgraded from a 2014 Odyssey. A lot less cargo space than the Odyssey. Nice to still be able to seat 8 when needed.
Car is great all the features I need. Only downside is the size of the dash screen.
Best Bang for your Buck. A/T tires are very quiet , couldn’t tell the difference between the Touring AWD.
